Modern Synthesis featured in Drapers article about relaunch of Fashion District's Manufacturing Futures competition

Modern Synthesis was featured in a Drapers article about London-based fashion business hub Fashion District announcing the return of their Innovation Challenge: Manufacturing Futures start-up competition.

First launched in 2021, the Manufacturing Futures is awarded to fashion and technology start-ups that have introduced new tech solutions to addresses industry challenges.

For this year's edition, start-ups and SMEs will once again have the chance to win a £15,000 cash prize to invest in their business model, alongside the opportunity to pitch to – and potentially work with – some of the industry’s leading brands and retailers on the judging panel.

Manufacturing Future's first edition in 2021 named sustainable fashion start-up Biophilica as the winner of the main prize, with bio-material start-up Modern Synthesis being awarded with the highly commended accolade.
