Evolve with Us: BDC Giving Tuesday 2024
If there’s one lesson we’ve learned from running Biodesign Challenge for the past decade, it’s that biodesign is here to stay—as a burgeoning career path, hobby, and field of study.
This Giving Tuesday, Biodesign Challenge celebrates 10 years of student excellence in biotechnology, art, and design. Over the past decade, our organization has grown from a small, science literacy program into a global thought-leader in an emerging field. We are proud of this accomplishment, and it would not have been possible without your support.
Help us evolve to meet the challenges and opportunities of the next decade with a charitable donation in support of our students, educators, and programming.
Our 2024 Giving Tuesday campaign will run through December 6! Over these next few weeks, you’ll hear from BDC alumni on their relationship with biodesign and about how the discipline is already inspiring future changemakers. Help us meet our $20,000 fundraising goal so that we can continue to support students who are shaping the future of sustainable design.
Thank you to our 2023 donors for their support!

Why Biodesign Challenge?
Biodesign Challenge is a global educational nonprofit that empowers students to improve their communities with innovation at the intersection of biotechnology and design. With its programming and events, Biodesign Challenge catalyzes positive social change by supporting STEAM educators and by seeding the first generation of biodesigners.
Our community of students, educators, artists, scientists, and designers is uniquely positioned to impact and disrupt society’s longstanding relationship to the life sciences. Together, with your help, we can reinvigorate our biotic community so that our shared future is one of harmony between ourselves and the natural world.
A gift to Biodesign Challenge is both a promise to the next generation and an investment in the promise of our students. Our Giving Tuesday campaign ensures that BDC evolves with scientific trends and consistently delivers world-class educational opportunities. With your help, we will expand our instructional materials, provide additional support to educators, and guarantee that the Biodesign Challenge remains a professional and personal milestone in the lives of our participants.
SPONSOR
Our work would not be possible without the corporate, foundation, and governmental sponsors who believe in our mission and support it. We are proud to have their diverse perspectives inform our programming, and we are grateful that they share our commitment to the next generation of STEAM leaders and innovators.
