Co-Breath

Co-Breath is a speculative project that creates a symbiotic relationship between humans and algae through the use of  a face mask. Carbon dioxide from human breath is converted into fuel for algal growth within the mask. In turn, the algae provides clean oxygen for the wearer to breathe.
