BDC Community Open Call for Biodesigned Issue 8
Biodesigned is seeking submissions for the July issue of our online magazine. The deadline to submit is June 18, 2021. To anyone who has taken or taught a BDC class, attended our events, or is simply a fan of Biodesign Challenge—we want to hear from you!
Here’s the prompt:
The year is 2071: Boundaries between humans and nonhumans have blurred. How do these organisms look and function? How do they fit into new social, ecological, and political systems?
Everyone is welcome to submit. As a response to the prompt, please send videos, audio clips, illustrations, animations, photography, or text.
The theme of Biodesigned's July issue is INTERSPECIES. It will focus on hybridity, more-than-human design, cross-species interaction, pets, and more.
