Biodesign Challenge Visits NYU Gallatin
Program Associate Alison Irvine visited NYU Gallatin's biodesign course to introduce students to their consulting experts, including Leslie Mitchell, Postdoctoral Fellow from NYU Langone Medical Center, Oliver Medvedik, Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology and Bioengineering at The Cooper Union and Assistant Director of the Kanbar Center for Biomedical Engineering, and Nafissa Yakubova from Epibone.
Mitchell led the students through a tour of the lab at the Alexandria Center for Life Sciences and instructed them on how to paint with genetically modified yeast. NYU's theme this semester is architecture.
