Mycelium Air Filter

The project proposes an air filter that uses activated charcoal to capture air contaminants and mycelium to provide structural support and additional surface area for filtration.

Dan Ardia

Dan Ardia is a professor of biology at Franklin & Marshall College where he studies evolution of animals in response to rapid environmental change. He has become increasingly interested in the natural and human ecology of urban areas, especially in how people interact with and value green spaces. Dan has a longstanding interest in birds and their evolution in art and design, both in a historical and contemporary context.

Magnolia Laurie

Magnolia Laurie's work has been exhibited in solo shows at frosch & portmann (NY), the Phillips Museum of Art (PA), Hamiltonian Gallery (DC), MONO Practice (MD), the Kemper Art Museum (MO), and the Baltimore Museum of Art (MD) among other venues. She has participated in residencies across the United States including at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, the Vermont Studio Center, and the Jentel Foundation.
