Fungus and Architecture: HSE Alumna Receives a Patent for Her Invention

Biodesign Challenge 2019 participant Anna Budnikova has recently received a patent for her project Mycokarst.

The project involves using spores from Trichoderma reesei fungus spores to enact a biological self-repair operation for karst sinkholes in urban environments.
