BDC Students Exhibit with Darwin, Watson & Crick, and Rosalind Franklin at DESIGN & SCIENCE

BDC alumni from Drexel 2018 are showing their project Metagenomic Field Kit at a traveling exhibition curated by Leslie Atzmon from 9/11 - 10/17 at University Gallery, Eastern Michigan University. The show will travel to Esther Klein Gallery at The Science Center in Philadelphia in February 2020. Phenomenal Machines a video work by the students’ instructor Nicole Koltick is also on exhibit.

The pieces are exhibited with important artifacts from the history of biology, including sketches by Charles Darwin that illustrate heredity; the original model for the DNA double helix by James Watson and Francis Crick; and Rosalind Franklin’s X-ray diffraction photographs of DNA.
