M. Genevieve Hitchings
M. Genevieve Hitchings is Associate Professor of Communication Design (COMD) at New York City College of Technology, CUNY. With expertise in communication design and illustration for both print and interactive media, her approach to design is not merely as a theoretical process but as an active collaboration between designer and client. Genevieve is principal designer of ARTORIUM, a graphic and interactive design studio committed to communicating the essentials of complex information quickly, clearly, and appealingly.

Candido Cabo
Candido Cabo is a Professor in the Department of Computer Systems Technology at New York City College of Technology, City University of New York. He earned the degree of Ingeniero Superior de Telecomunicacion from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (Spain) in 1982, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University in 1992. He was a post-doctoral fellow at Upstate Medical Center, State University of New York, and a research scientist in the Department of Pharmacology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. Since 2005, Candido has been a member of the doctoral faculty in the Computer Science Doctoral Program at the CUNY Graduate Center. His research interests include computer science and engineering education and the use of computational models to understand and solve problems in biology.
