SFSU opens first Sustainable Materials Learning Library on the West Coast

A 2023 BDC team at San Francisco State University alongside instructors JD Beltran and Fernando Carvalho has launched the first Sustainable Materials Learning Library on the West Coast, an invaluable resource for designers and creators to find sustainable and/or recycled materials to address the climate crisis.

In addition to presenting at the BDC Summit this year, the library was also showcased in San Francisco at the campus DesignSpace Gallery (FA115) in a SFSU Design Exhibition, PERENNIAL PLANET, through May 11, 2023.
