AlgiKnit co-founders Tessa Callaghan and Aleksandra Gosiewski (FIT, BDC 2016) were selected for the Forbes 30 Under 30 Manufacturing and Industry Class of 2022.
Gabe Tavas (University of Illinois, BDC 2021) won a James Dyson Award for his project Symmetry Wood.
Getting Our Sh*t Together (AUAS, BDC 2021) was featured at Dutch Design Week.

THE BDC summit 2021 was a blast!
The BDC Summit 2021 was held online and welcomed a record number of participants from 53 schools, 20 countries, and five continents.

BDC and Google partnered on the first-ever Biodesign Sprint! Forty teams from 15 countries developed projects to rethink electronic hardware that function in symbiotic harmony with the environment.

The Latin American Biodesign Hub and Midwest Biodesign Hub are for regional biodesign practitioners, researchers, and students to share resources, collaborate, and develop new teaching practices.

BIODESIGNED MAGAZINE CONTINUES to publish more voices
