Lost Touch

The pandemic has created a new norm when it comes to human connection. Lost Touch uses haptic wearable design to create a virtually-linked glove that aims to provide the sense of touch during digital interactions.

Natrina Mariane P. Toyong
Natrina Mariane P. Toyong obtained her diploma in art and design (industrial design) and Bachelor of Art and Design (industrial design) (hons.) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia in 2003 and 2005 respectively, as well as a Master of Design from the Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago in 2008. She is currently pursuing her PhD in design foresighting as a designerly form of concepting on a part-time basis. Her background includes works on p.o.s product and exhibition design as well as nation-wide campaigns for brands which provided the foundation for her current specialized area in the Department of Industrial Design, UiTM within the area of design management and product strategy, design trend studies, and product and furniture design studios.
